ENI and CongoRep are seeking to divest their equity in the Likouala Block. The block contains the Likouala Marine and the Likouala East Marine fields.
The Likouala conventional oil field recovered 64.94% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2014. The peak production was approximately 26.83 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2053. The field currently accounts for approximately 6% of the country’s daily output.
The field is expected to recover 80.57 Mmboe, comprised of 80.57 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Likouala conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
