Cote d’Ivoire CI705
On November 13, 2023, ICE OIL & GAS has signed a production sharing contract with Côte d’Ivoire on offshore block CI-705.
This block has a size of 2,289 sq km., located offshore Grand Lahou at a water depth of up to 2,500 meters.
With the signing of the PSC, ICE OIL & GAS, (Operator with 90% interest) has obtained exploration, development and production rights in Block CI-705. PETROCI, the national oil company, has 10% carried interest. The exploration period, as set out in ICE’s PSC, will last seven years, divided into three periods. This block is covered by good quality 2D and 3D seismic data (1270 sq km.).
Three exploration wells were drilled on block CI-705. ICE OIL & GAS will concentrate its exploration efforts in the Albian sands in the area of interest located on trend of the producing field.
ICE OIL & GAS identified a large gas-prone prospect in shallow water depth of less than 200 meters, close to infrastructure.
